GKGA Swartz Stableford Rules
August 31 – 12 Noon Shotgun Start
· PROPER GOLF ATTIRE REQUIRED: COLLARED SHIRTS, NO DENIM (JEANS)
· Golf Genius must be used for entering scores.
· Download the Golf Genius app to your phone before the tournament. Only one person in the group will enter the scores.
· Enter your actual score into Golf Genius. It will calculate the Stableford score. In the app you can monitor the real time leaderboard. Keep a paper card as back up
· Local rule – If a ball enters the tall heather grass and cannot be found you may drop two club lengths from the point of entry and incur a one stroke penalty.
· Tee Boxes
o Open division – Black tees (under 50)
o Seniors (50-69) – Blue Tees.
o Super Seniors (70+) White tees
· This is a single division tournament.
Stableford Scoring is as follows:
· 0 points for double bogey and higher. Pick up and move on
· 1 point for a bogey
· 2 points for a par
· 4 points for a birdie
· 6 points for an eagle
· 8 points for a double eagle
There is an optional skins game for $10 (cash only)
· Prizes will be awarded after the tournament with Moors gift cards
· You must be present to win or have a representative there.
· Closest to the pin on all par 3’s. $60 gift card
· The practice range will open at 11AM and not sooner
The Moors will have a small menu with a few purchase options for those wanting to grab lunch starting at 10:45 AM. Please support the venue and grab a bite to eat.
